…in which your host talks NASA, start-ups and Inception with Felix Haas, founder and CEO of Glarify.
This week, Artipoeus talks to Felix Haas, founder of Glarify, the world’s first global mapping tool only for art.
I don’t have a lot of followers on Instagram (although: you can follow me if you like!), so when people like my photos, I like to see who they are. Earlier this year, something called Glarify liked a photo, and left a comment: if you like art, sign up for Glarify and be a part of your local art scene! So I checked it out… Glarify… hmmm… how does this work, there’s artists, there’s galleries, there’s museums, there’s art, and it’s in Munich, Berlin, Paris, London… well, everywhere. Art is everywhere. And I thought to myself, hey that’s my line!
So I contacted the owner of the site, Felix Haas who is located in Stuttgart, and asked him if he wants to partner up. We exchanged about two emails, had a 30 minute Skype chat, one more email exchange and bam! partners. Fastest deal ever made.
Felix and I finally got a chance to meet face to face several months later when he and his girlfriend were visiting Berlin. We sat down and talked about Felix’s amazing global vision for art through Glarify.
